FX-Series Taper-Top Lock Top Block

Overview
The Taper/Lock Top Block is often used at transition points in walls, such as when a bearing ledge is needed yet the wall will continue with additional courses higher. The tapered edge is used for additional bearing such as a floor system. The locking panel provides for a thinner core block to stack and interlock with it. The panels are 2.75" thick with an additional 1.75" of concrete for bearing on the Taper panel. Taper Top blocks can typically make up about 10% of a project. The foam panels are 1.5lb density 2.75" thick with reversible interlocking foam teeth along only the bottom panel edges. The panels are held in a structural position with 6 fixed webs, spaced 8" apart and have a 1.5lb density for superior strength and R-value.
