Overview
The Double Taper Top Block is used as the top course of walls, when a bearing ledge is needed for both sides of the wall, such as a brick-ledge on one side and floor system on the other side. The panels are 2.75" thick with an additional 1.75" of concrete for bearing on each side. Taper Top type Blocks can typically make up about 10% of a project. The foam panels are 1.5lb density and 2.75" thick with reversible interlocking foam teeth. The panels are held in a structural position with 6 fixed webs, spaced 8" apart, and have a 1.5lb density for R-value and superior strength.
